Welcome to the NEW website. You may have noticed I’ve been silent. This website needed to be updated and that took some time. I’m back! Check out all of the updates. Speaking of which- I’ve updated my LIFE. I have relocated to the desert for work and I have fallen in love with the energy, architecture and the entire landscape here. I’m currently creating the flow and the foundation for a truly beautiful experience here. I am offering all of my skin therapy services here in Palm Springs so make an appointment to see me if you’re coming out! If you need a makeup session book that too!
I look forward to hearing from you!

Billy Zane. Artist.
Thursday, August 29th, 2013Most people are familiar with Billy Zane the actor from his work in films like Titanic but what struck me most was finding out he was a prolific abstract expressionist painter. I recently did grooming for Billy for the cover of Fabric Magazine at a location where Billy was showing his latest work that night at an opening. I can’t show the cover images of Billy until release of the issue but I can show you a few of his pieces. See if you can tell which is my favorite….It was a fabulous day. Large scale abstract art makes me a very happy Lady.

San Francisco.
Saturday, July 13th, 2013I took a drive north to my home town of San Francisco for some fresh air, to visit with friends, hold a few meetings, and indulge in a little gallery time.
Golden Gate Bridge.
Rainbow Tunnel to Marin.
Ocean Beach. Sunset District.
Classic SF backyards.
The new De Young Museum.
Richard Diebenkorn at the De Young Museum. No photos allowed inside. I can tell you that I stood before one of my favorite pieces of all time “Coffee” from 1959.
Also at the De Young- another favorite- Mark Rothko, Untitled, 1949
I was able to visit the studio of Artist Jay Mercado to see a sneak preview of his “Pillow” series. I also got to see one of my favorite pieces from his beloved “Donut” series.

Eric Cahan.
Tuesday, April 30th, 2013
I recently discovered Eric Cahan’s art on a friend’s Instagram and was instantly drawn into it. The rest of the contents of the photo completely disappeared. I was transported into this piece which I would soon learn was part of his hypnotic Sky Series. Frantic research ensued and slight obsession has followed. His Liquid Glass pieces are magnificent. I knew my friend Dana Claudat would share my enchantment and excitement in newly discovering his work. Here is what she has to say about it….

Andy Warhol “Sunset” 1972.
Monday, August 13th, 2012
In 1972, Andy Warhol did a series of sunsets inspired by his time spent at his home in Montauk. I have been really inspired by these pieces this Summer and if you aren’t familiar with these- they are not what you normally think of when you think Warhol…..
Love love love…..
